It is what it is! August 24, 2010 walkinharry I was a bit disappointed by the plasticky feel of this phone - It does feel a bit lightweight and cheap. However it does everything it should do. The keypad is easy. The camera is perfectly adequate for a phone camera. It finds signals where some of my other phones have struggled, and best of all the battery life is amazing compared to any I've used before. Up to 3 days of regular use on one charge. All great if you just ant a phone and not a fashion accessory!
haven't got my hands on this yet! August 17, 2010 Chrissie I bought this for me but "lent" it to my son whilst he thinks about updating his own mobile. I think that says it all really! I got it months ago and he has been using it ever since....so far it has worked well and seems to be quite adequate for his needs, in spite of the fact that he usually has much more expensive and complicated phones.....
seems to be a winner then!
My new phone August 17, 2010 M. Taskiran Having not updated my mobile phone for a very long time, it is well over five years ago that i bought my last one! i was somewhat nervous about choosing a new one and was only doing so reluctantly( as my very old rubber nokia/builders phone as they referred to it in carphone warehouse affter they had stopped falling about with laughter that I still had it) finally gave up the ghost and died.
I am so pleased with this phone, I love Nokia's and this one is brilliant. neat, simple to use AND stylish! Highly recommended.
Reasonable basic phone but sync problems with Toshiba laptop August 6, 2010 MR DAVID SIMPSON 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this phone because I wanted a simple phone to do the basics. In that respect it's perfectly fine. However when I came to sync it with my Toshiba laptop the blue tooth doesn't work. Then I discover in the nokia blogs that there is compatibility problem only with Toshiba regarding blue tooth. There doesn't seem to be a cable to buy to link the phone to the laptop so at the moment I'm looking at downloading my photos to someone else's laptop and then transferring them to my laptop. Not very impressive at all. Also I'm used to syncing my diary etc and I can't do that so I'm now looking at buying another phone.
Nokia 2720 Fold. Sim Free. August 1, 2010 R. Purcell (Telford, England) [[ASIN:B002NU5Z3M Nokia 2720 Fold Sim Free Mobile Phone]
Purchased this phone from Amazon as I was fed up with charging my Sony-Ericsson at least every 3 days and also found that the keys were quite small for my fingers.
What a delight the 2720 Fold is. The keys are a lot bigger, so mistakes when texting are a thing of the past and the battery lasts at least 10 days before needing a recharge, `Wonderful`. No need to lock the keys, as when you fold the phone, you cannot press the keys accidently. It is nice and slim, certainly no bigger than my old phone. Very very pleased. would recommend it to anyone.
